The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and assured liquidity support facility (ALSF) for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Monday, 06 May 2024. In that auction, 12 banks and 04 financial institutions submitted 83 bids amounting to Taka 5,216.72 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility and 13 PD banks submitted 32 bids amounting to taka 3,206.74 crore for 01 day tenor assured liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 8,423.46 crore was provided under repo and ALSF. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and assured liquidity support facility were 8.10 and 8.00 percent per annum, respectively.
