The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and assured liquidity support facility (ALSF) for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, 04 February 2024. In that auction, 17 banks submitted 45 bids amounting to Taka 3,828.54 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility and 13 PD banks submitted 58 bids amounting to taka 4,250.50 crore for 01 day tenor assured liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 8,079.04 crore was provided under repo and ALSF. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and assured liquidity support facility were 8.10 and 8.00 percent per annum, respectively.
